At 11am on Friday 20th May to start a 48 hr session for only the second time since joining this club water.
So we set about settling in for the long run so to speak. It must have been about 5 hrs later, when my
buzzer alarm sprang into life,,, I quickly grabbed my left rod and set the hook. It only took me 5 minutes to
bring it in, and what a gorgeous fish it was, an 11 lb Ghost Carp in pristine condition. Any others that I caught
matter this would pale insignificance. This one fish out of 7, made my weekend, and if I hadn't caught for
the rest of the time, it was still a successful session.
At the end of June, I am in a charity comp followed by another 48 hr session, with any luck, I will be reporting on a
very eventful trip.
